Leonardo - Lives with mild and intermittent depression, after a period of injury affected his potential soccer career. Sessions with a psychologist helped Leonardo regain his true self, however he is aware now of depression and has the tools to manage it when it comes. Leonardo is of Italian and Cuban descent.

Nina - Nina’s experiences with mental health are more indirect, in that during her time currently at university away from her home country of France, the majority of Nina’s friends and community are feeling sensitive around their mental health. “So many people are feeling anxious, stressed, struggling with depression and anxiety. It seems nobody feels safe. At its worst, there are several people where the anxiety is manifesting into eating disorders like anorexia nervosa”. Nina advises that several of her community are seeking support through therapy.

Jordan - Born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, Jordan Anderson is a creative director and a fashion & culture journalist who is currently based in Milan. His work often magnifies & explores political themes in and outside the fashion industry including race, gender, identity & brand and cultural ethics, including mental health.

About the Product:

Hybrid polo jacket pullover sweat top. Top half is gabardine. Bottom half and sleeves is French terry sweatshirt (felpa) material. The gabardine fabric is an exclusive yarn to EBiT™ weaved in an Italian artisanal family owned mill in north-east Italy, using organic cotton on a machine with 80,000 needles (see process videos). Gabardine is a fabric often used for strength and durability, symbolizing a new form of uniform and protection, for those fragile and sensitive days.

Body/sleeves are organic cotton luxury grade French terry sweatshirt (felpa) fabric, cut on the reverse side to give a surprising texture to the eye and touch. Unisex, structured around neck and shoulders, giving elegance, while comfort and ease through the body and sleeves in the sweatshirt material. Raw edges symbolize the raw state of our emotions, cut off but always a cool effortless vibe. The gabardine fabric ‘breathes’ and softens over time the more times it’s worn, almost molding to the shape and movements of your body. 100% Made in Italy, always.
